Looking forward to some big band double duty, this evening, at Birdland in NYC!

First, at 6pm, I’ll be with the Greg Ruvolo Big Band Collective – great band, and it’s always a joy to support the lead trumpet of the great Earl Gardner! It’ll be swinging, for sure!

Then, at 9pm & 11pm, the Afro Latin Jazz Orchestra is back, directed by Arturo O’Farrill, continuing the 23+ year O’Farrill residency at Birdland on a Sunday night.

I hope to see you at one of both of these, at the best Jazz Club in NYC!
