I somehow seem to have grown into seasonal allergies. This has not been something I’ve previously suffered with, in my 48+ years on this planet, but the pollen count is apparently high in NYC today, and all the symptoms seem to match. I do hope this is not a thing I now have to deal with regularly, as it’s miserable.

For the viewing several who may also have read that the new COVID variant has allergy-like symptoms, I have tested and am, so far, showing negative. I guess we’ll see…

Today was a rare day off. I had a couple of quick jobs to do, including warming up on the horn and doing a very brief remote recording, but otherwise I relaxed, watched a bunch of TV and even took a nap!

I needed it. I have to remember to prioritize rest amid the constant hustle. Work will still be there tomorrow…
