This evening, I have a doubleheader at Birdland in NYC!

At 5:30pm, we perform with the Jihye Lee Orchestra. Jihye is a remarkable composer, and this music is really something special! Please come and check it out.

Then, at 8:30pm and 10:30pm, Arturo O’Farrill and the Afro Latin Jazz Orchestra take the stage, continuing a residency which is now in it’s 28th year!

Nothing particularly earth-shattering to report in today’s post, although I did take time to make some small content updates on the site. Most importantly, that makes 20 consecutive days that I’ve done something here!
