We’ll be playing 2 sets, at 8:00pm & 9:30pm in the Dizzy Gillespie Auditorium at the Baha’i Center NYC, on E11th St between Broadway & University Place, with our special guest; NEA Jazz Master Jimmy Owens! Today marks the official release of the long-awaited new CD by the Eyal Vilner Big Band – “Almost Sunrise.” We’re celebrating with a CD Release at Small’s Jazz Club in Greenwich Village, NYC. This is a special afternoon event, ahead of Small’s regular schedule. We’ll be performing from 4:30pm to 7:00pm, cover charge is $20. I hope you’ll come and hang with us. If you’re not in town, the gig will also be available to watch online, via the Smalls website livestream.

4:30pm in NYC (EST) is 9:30pm in the UK, 10:30pm in Mainland Europe etc. Hopefully some friends and family in that direction will look in!

I’ll be with the Birdland Big Band for their weekly show at Birdland Jazz Club, this evening. We play from just after 5pm until 7pm, cover charge is $30. Come hang and get the weekend off to a roaring start!!
