After great concerts with the ALJO featuring Ellis Marsalis and Steven Bernstein, the past couple of nights, we’re excited to return home to Birdland, in NYC, this evening. We’ll be celebrating – this afternoon our Artistic Director Arturo O’Farrill won a Grammy for Best Instrumental Composition, for “3 Revolutions” from our recent CD “Familia” featuring Chucho Valdes! Congratulations Arturo! Proud to be in the band and on the recording.
